Grid Road Design

• Provided civil engineering services for design and construction of new portion of Main Farm Access Road to access a new acreage development as part of a development permit issued by the R.M. of Lumsden, Sk.
• Provided design drawings, construction layout, inspection and as-built drawings for the project.

Project Manager and Senior Design Engineer to provide civil engineering consulting services for the design and construction of 200 m of Main Farm Access Road for an acreage developer in accordance with the RM development permit. The project included topographic surveying, design of the road to RM specifications and included horizontal and vertical curve designs. In addition, a shallow water line was located within the roadway corridor that could not be moved or altered, which required the design to minimize the removal of earth from over the water line and still provide the required drainage along the road right of way. This project also included initial construction survey staking of the road and periodic inspections during construction as well as a final inspection with the RM engineers.
