Project Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide geotechnical engineering consulting services for the subsurface characterization of an existing dairy operation in support of their permit application to Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture to expand their dairy operations from 100 to 240 cows. The investigation consisted of drilling boreholes, installing monitoring wells, assessing groundwater impacts from the existing operation, providing geotechnical recommendations and design drawings for expansion of the earthen manure storage pond, construction of a runoff collection pond and associated berms and ditches to control and direct runoff from potentially impacted and nonimpacted areas of the site.
